The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV) was established by the Act No. 37 of 1995 of Madhya Pradesh Government vide gazette notification no 573 dated 29 Nov 1995. The University Grants Commission [UGC] has recognized MMYVV under section 2f. It is a member of Association of Indian Universites. [AIU] The University head office is at Village Karondi, Tehsil Sihora, District Katni, Madhya Pradesh. Directorate of Distance Education of the University is situated at Lamti, Vijay Nagar, Jabalpur. Pin 482002. Distance Education Council vide their letter No. DEC/recog/MMYogi/2006/844 dated 15-11-2006 has issued NOC to conduct under mentioned courses.
The DDE is headed by a Director who functions under the VC, MMYVV. He is overall in charge of all activities of DDE. His principle responsibilities are to direct and monitor academic operations and coordinate the working of the study centres . He will maintain close contact with Director of Examination. He will be provided academic and non-academic staff for discharge of all academic and non-academic responsibilites. The coordinators and counselors deployed at study centres are responsible to the Directorate of Distance Education. |
